Elena will call you back within one business day, usually the same day if you reach out before 3 PM ET. The 30-minute call is free and is genuinely about understanding your situation: your business structure, current tax position, growth plans, and where the pain points sit. No hard sell, no commitment.

Engagement letter

If we’re a good fit, you’ll receive a fixed-fee engagement letter within a few days: full scope, deliverables, fees, and timeline up front. No hourly billing surprises, no scope creep mid-year. If we’re not the right fit for your situation, we’ll tell you and point you toward someone who is.

Do you take new clients mid-year?
Yes. Bookkeeping, accounting, advisory and corporate work are all open year-round. We do close T1 personal returns 2-3 days before the April 30 deadline; reach out earlier if it's tax season.
What does an engagement cost?
Engagements are fixed-fee. After the discovery call we send a written proposal with scope and price up front. You decide before any work starts.
Do you work remotely or in-office?
Both. We meet in person in Whitby for clients who want to, and serve clients across Canada securely online. Most of our day-to-day work is remote.

Our Whitby office is at 70 Taunton Road East, just off Highway 412 with easy access from Oshawa, Ajax, and Pickering. In-person meetings are by appointment so we can give you uninterrupted time. Most clients prefer video calls or a hybrid mix; we keep both options open across the engagement and meet you wherever it works best for your schedule.

Questions people ask before reaching out

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. The first conversation with Elena costs nothing and comes with no obligation. You explain your situation, she tells you how the firm can help and what it would cost, and you decide from there. No payment details are needed to book.

How quickly will I hear back?

Within one business day. Elena reads every message herself, so your reply comes from the person who would actually handle your file, not a call centre or an automated queue.

Do I have to switch accountants right away?

No. Many people reach out simply to get a second opinion or to understand their options. If you decide to move your file over, the firm manages the handover with your previous accountant so nothing gets missed.

Can you help if I am behind on filing or have a CRA letter?

Yes. Late returns, a reassessment, a review, or a letter from the CRA are common reasons people get in touch. Bring what you have and Elena will lay out your options and the steps to sort it out, with no judgment, just a plan.

Do you work with clients outside Whitby?

Yes. The office is in Whitby, and the firm works with people across Durham Region, including Oshawa, Ajax, Pickering and Clarington, plus remote clients throughout Ontario. Most work is handled by phone, email and secure file sharing.

What should I have ready?

Nothing formal. A short note about what you need, a personal or corporate return, bookkeeping, a CRA letter, or a question about incorporating, is enough to get started. Elena will tell you which documents matter once she understands your situation.
